COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains: Iron Polymaltosed: 100 mg, excipients c.s.p. 1 tablet. Each mL of syrup contains: Iron polymaltosed: 50 mg; drops each mL contains: Iron Polymaltosed: 50 mg.

INDICATIONS: FERRUMKLINGE® is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of iron deficiency anemia and iron deficiency states due to increased demand, pregnancy, rapid postnatal growth phase, growth phase during adolescence, or pathological loss: gastrointestinal hemorrhage gynecological surgery. Insufficient absorption, lack of intake (elderly, strict vegetarians).

DOSE: Adults: for treatment of iron deficiency anemia, the usual dose is 100-200 mg of iron (2 to 4 mL or 40 to 80 drops) to normalize the concentration of hemoglobin (10 weeks). The prophylactic dose is 60 to 120 mg / day of iron (24 to 48 drops) to replenish reserves (3-6 months). Children: Treatment: 2 mg / kg body weight 3 times a day. Prophylaxis: 1 mg / kg / day. The dose and duration of treatment depend on the degree of iron deficiency. In pregnant women the dose prophylactic treatment should continue until the end of gestation.
