COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains 81 mg of enteric-coated aspirin, excipients c.s.p 1 tablet.
INDICATIONS: Because of its antiplatelet properties it is administered with a thrombolytic in the initial treatment of myocardial infarction and for secondary prevention of myocardial infarction and apoplectic attack in patients at risk. It is used to prevent myocardial infarction in patients with unstable angina and to prevent apoplectic attack in patients atrial fibrillation. It has been administered after angioplasty and aortocoronary bypass surgery to prevent restenosis. It is used for secondary prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with stable or unstable angina or those with current or previous myocardial infarction and to reduce the risk of future serious vascular events in patients who have had an apoplectic stroke or transient ischemic attack.
DOSIS Y ADMINISTRACIÓN: Se administra por vía oral. Como antiagregante plaquetario la dosis es de 81 mg (un comprimido diario); para la prevención secundaria de eventos vasculares la dosis es de 81 mg (1 comprimido diario), si el paciente ha presentado un infarto se debe administrar 162 mg (2 comprimidos diarios) durante seis meses y luego 81 mg (1 comprimido). Si se desea lograr una inmediata acción antiagregante en el tratamiento inicial del infarto agudo de miocardio y de la angina inestable se debe iniciar con una dosis de carga de 324 mg (4 comprimidos).
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: It is given orally. SIDE EFFECTS: The most common adverse effects occurring with therapeutic doses of aspirin are gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, dyspepsia and vomiting.
PRECAUTIONS: It should not be administered to patients prone to dyspepsia or those known to have gastric mucosal lesions in patients with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders, patients with known history of sensitivity reactions to aspirin or other NSAIDs should be avoided or used with caution in patients with asthma, chronic rhinitis or chronic urticarial, and when you have impaired liver or kidney functions. Aspirin should not be used in patients at term, mothers who are breastfeeding their infants.
WARNING: Delicate use product. Administer by prescription and under medical supervision. Do not use in pediatric patients.
