COMPOSITION

TOBRAMYCIN 3 mg / mL ophthalmic solution

OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION

 

USES AND ADMINISTRATION

Bactericidal aminoglycoside antimicrobial, potent, broad spectrum and rapid action. It acts mainly on bacterial cells by inhibiting the synthesis and binding of the polypeptides on the ribosome.

 

INDICATIONS:

Superficial bacterial infections of the eye (conjunctivitis).

 

HOW TO USE:

Ophthalmic route Eye instillation according to medical prescription. It is recommended 1 or 2 drops every four hours.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to the components, viral and mycotic lesions of the cornea and conjunctiva.

 

ADVERSE EFFECTS:

It can give sensitivity reactions. Prolonged use may cause overgrowth of non-sensitive microorganisms. Space the instillation 5-15 min of other ophthalmic drugs.

Itching, irritation and inflammation of the eyelid have been described, conjunctival erythema.
