PRESENTATION:

HELIXIL ARISTON® syrup bottle x 150 mL with measuring spoon

 

COMPOSITION

Each 100 mL of Syrup contains:

Dry extract of Ivy leaves

(Hedera helix) 0.7 g

Equivalent to Hederacoside C 0.056 g

Excipients: Sorbitol, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Sucralose, Caramel Flavor, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Demineralized Water q.s.

 

USES AND ADMINISTRATION

HELIXIL ARISTON® syrup has mucolytic properties (dilutes the mucus and reduces its viscosity), bronchodilators (opens the bronchi, closed by the infectious and inflammatory process), expectorants (facilitates the expulsion of phlegm) and antitussives (calm the cough), as a result of the above properties.

 

INDICATIONS:

HELIXIL ARISTON® syrup is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of productive cough that is associated with bronchial affections. Fluidifier, bronchodilator, calms cough.

 

METHOD OF USE AND DOSAGE:

Orally

Children 3 – 5 years: 2.5 mL every 8 hours.

Children 6 – 12 years: 5 mL every 8 hours.

Adolescents and adults: 5 to 7.5 mL every 8 hours.

The duration of the treatment will depend on the severity of the clinical picture, but it is recommended that it not be less than a week, even if the clinical picture is mild.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the formula’s components.

• Contraindicated in children under 3 years of age and in hypersensitivity to the components.

• Do not use in patients intolerant to sorbitol

ADVERSE EFFECTS AND OTHERS:

INTERACTIONS:

Administration with acetylcysteine ​​is not recommended

 

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:

It is contraindicated in pregnancy or when its existence is assumed. The administration of HELIXIL ARISTON® during the breast-feeding period should be left to your doctor.

 

SECONDARY AND ADVERSE REACTIONS:

They have not been described at therapeutic doses.

The sorbitol in the formulation may have a slight laxative effect.
